Transit Museum

First and foremost, Happy Birthday Aunt Chevy!! We love you and can't wait to see you next weekend!

We have less than a month until school starts. How did this happen? We have quite a few more things to do on our summer list, so I decided today would be a good day to check out the transit museum. It may be the best thing that's ever happened to Chris. All trains, buses, and things with wheels. It was a very exciting day.

It's hard to tell from this picture, but Bryce is hailing a cab here. He's in the Ergo carrier, and now as soon as we walk outside he raises his arm and tries to stop a cab. It's pretty adorable. It's funny how kids pick up on things. This morning our intercom rang and Bryce ran to the place where we keep our money to tip delivery people and tried to get money out. Smart cookie, and quite a New Yorker already.

We bypassed the taxi, sorry Bryce, and got on the subway. Here we are on the 4 train.
The museum is in a subway station, so you have to walk down stairs to get in. It's a little tricky to find.

They have lots of different trains you can go in. They have the first trains from the 1900's, all the way to the current trains they use now.

Here's Bryce at a turnstile.

Chris found the subway cat.

There are lots of displays about electricity and how the trains work. The boys are learning about conductors here, my dad would be so proud.

Here's Chris driving the bus. Scary thought!

The boys loved it! I know we will definitely be back to visit again.
