LG photo shoot

We were the only ones at the playground one day last month, so I made the LG pose for some pictures. He's always so quick that it's hard to capture good pics of him. I thought I'd post a few that turned out well.

First Day of Class

Christopher went to his first day of class today at the Y. It's kind of like a mini-preschool (only with mom there the whole time : ) ). He loved it! There was painting, puzzles, coloring, story time, snack time, and his favorite, gym time. They had a trampoline, fort, and all sorts of things he could roll around/crash into. I'm really excited he had such a good time with all of his little friends.

Here he is right before we left. I didn't get lots of pictures because it was SO cold this morning. It always takes forever to bundle this poor little guy up before our big walk over there.

Here's his painting. I wanted to get a pic of him with it, but he fell asleep in the stroller before we even got home. I can't wait to see what else they have planned for him!

Thanksgiving

Conan's parents and Mariko were in town for Thanksgiving. It was great to have family around for the holidays! Christopher loves hanging out with the Crums!
Mariko's birthday was that weekend, so the LG had a plethora of balloons to play with. He couldn't have been happier (even if it doesn't look like it in the picture).

We went to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and saw some really big balloons. Chris wasn't that impressed. Someone gave him a regular sized balloon that we put on his stroller and that entertained him the whole time though.
Grandpa's telling him all about it.

The boys.
Mariko and her birthday cheesecake. We loved getting to spend her birthday with her!

Kim, Mariko and I went to the Rockettes at Radion City Music Hall. Amazing!

I think we all decided we'd like that to be our new profession.

Photographer Mariko took a family shot of us right before they left. She took way more great pictures, I just need to figure out how to download them here. I'll get on that soon!

Thanks for coming to see us Crums! We miss you can't wait to see you again soon!

Week with Grammy (a few months late)

The week before Thanksgiving my mom came in town. Here are some pictures of the fun we had while she was here.

Christopher had a great time with Grammy. I'm not sure about this face is he's making. They have very similar hair color in this light, don't they?

My mom and I went and saw White Christmas on Broadway. We had tickets in the second row, and it was amazing!

Here's a group shot. Before we left we ate brunch at a restaurant in Union Square with Chevy. We found the LG a playground after we ate. He loves to swing (at least he did before the freezing weather- now we are stuck inside all. day. long.)

Here's a great shot of Chris and Chevy. How cute!

My mom also went furniture shopping with us. We got a new dining room set, and Christopher got to try out every couch in the store. They must have loved us there.

We went to the South Street Seaport right after they decorated it for Christmas. Here's my mom and the LG with the tree.

Reading.

For some reason Christopher loved Grammy's suitcase. We tried to move it to places he couldn't get to, but we finally just gave in and let him sit on it. That face is pretty hard for Grammy to say no to : ).

My mom is a big Project Runway fan, so we went to the fabric store they shop at on the show, Mood. Christopher was less than impressed, but there was an unbelievable amount of material there.

Bubbles!!

We also made a trip to FAO Schwarz. Here's Chris, Grammy, and our favorite toy soldier.

Surrounded by toys!

We had a wonderful time with my mom in town and can't wait for her next trip!

The reason I didn't post yesterday...

Sorry for the lack of pictures yesterday. Christopher and I hosted playgroup yesterday and I was a little worn out from it- well not really from the playgroup, more from how excited the LG was about it. He was a little hyper from all of the fun in the afternoon and had trouble calming down before bed.

The picture would have been even cuter in video form. The moms were looking out our window at the water and then one after another the kids started to climb on the couch to see out the window. Of course it wasn't long until the couch turned into a big trampoline. It always makes me laugh when the best toys in the house aren't even toys.

We're here!

I have lots of updates from the past couple of months. Sorry for the lack of posts! I've just been working on some other projects (mainly attempting to civilize a toddler). : ) Hope you are all doing well! I'm going to attempt a new post each day this week though. See you tomorrow!
