Bryce's 4 Month Visit

Bryce was 14# 9 oz. (50%), 26" long (90%), and his head was 41.5 cm. He gave the doctor a huge grin when he saw her, so passed with flying colors : ). Chris was so helpful at the appointment and had a good time helping me answer questions about his little brother. Love these little guys!

Christopher's 3 Year Stats

I realized I never wrote down the info from Christopher's 3 year pediatrician visit. I know there's no way I'm going to keep track of that paper, so I'll write it here...He was 32# (60%) and 39.25" long (85%). He's such a big kid now!!

Happy 4 Months, Bryce!

Bryce is 4 months today! I'll have pictures later. My camera is broken so we're using a disposable one until it's fixed. He's getting big and is getting some serious thighs. He's changed a lot this month. He "talks" all of the time now. His favorite noise sounds like he's saying hi, and he does it over and over. So cute. He's super smily, especially when you get close to his face and talk to him. He opens his mouth up all of the way and grins.

He also grabbed a toy that was dangling in front of him on the bouncy seat. Chris and I were in the kitchen making dinner and I looked over and he was gripping the toy and grinning. We were all very excited.

He doesn't seem to mind tummy time much any more and can really pick his head up well. He loves to stare at his hands and feet. He holds his hands together, but hasn't been able to grab his toes. He's going to be really excited when he figures that one out. Bryce is getting very social. He's happy sitting by himself as long as he can see you. The second you walk out of sight he starts fussing.

In other exciting news, he slept through the night last night! We moved Bryce into Chris' room a few weeks ago and he seems to like to be in the crib. Chris is such a great big brother and loves having a roommate.

We're so proud of our little 4 month old!

Bryce's first music class

Chris has been going to camp two days a week this summer and Bryce and I have had a couple of hours on our own. I took him to a music class last Wednesday. He seemed to like it- he was looking around and staring at the other kids. Then, about 30 minutes into the class they started singing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star". He couldn't even make it to the end of the song. He put his head on my shoulder and fell asleep. He's such a baby! I love this sweet age.

He is a Texan!

At church last week out pastor was talking to Chris about being a big brother. He told Chris it was a very important job and asked him what he was going to teach Bryce to do when he gets older. Chris didn't blink an eye and said, " to shoot". Pastor gave him a surprised look and looked to his parents for some clarification as to why our 3 year old is already interested in guns. We were laughing uncontrollably and had to explain, "basketball, he means shooting hoops".
