Big kid

I dropped chris off at a class for a little bit and needed a place to wait until we pucked him up. The coffee shop down the street called us. Bryce was sitting there eating raisins and playing with the train set and I couldn't believe how old be looked. Love our mom and Bryce mornings!

Day off

Yesterday Chris had a school holiday. We went with one of his friends to the Children's Museum of Art. It is one of my favorite kid areas in NYC, especially on a cold and rainy day. They have just about everything you can imagine. Lots of art, but the boys were a little more interested in the gigantic ball pit. There was lots of block building, playdough molding, goop throwing, and things of the sort. Too fun!

Cooking

Today was the first day I was able to cook with Bryce by himself. I can't believe how old he looks in this picture! We were walking home from dropping Chris off, and I just felt the need for pancakes for lunch. It is Fat Tuesday! Bryce helped me pour ingredients and stir. He also tried to put anything within reach into the bowl along with my ingredients (I rescued our bowl from a quarter, stuffed animal, and lego). He loved eating the pancakes, but picked out every single blueberry, handed it to me, and said Nooo. Love this LLG.

Blizzard!

Last night was the perfect snow storm! The snow started right as I was picking up Chris from school. Conan made it home and we all prepared for what we thought was a whole weekend full of hunkering down. Here's Chris when we got home from school yesterday...

It ended up being about 8" of snow for us. The fact that it fell on a Friday night, meant every kid in our area was outside enjoying the snow this morning. Chris met up with his friend Luke and they had some fun making snow angels.

Sledding.

Cheese!

But really, all they wanted to do was spend the entire time eating the snow. Great day!! We're thinking about everyone else who had serious snow. Stay warm and be safe (Especially you, Aunt Chevy!!).
