28 Weeks

Nothing very new to report on the baby front. I am starting to feel a little more tired. That could have more to do with a certain little two and a half year old and me being stuck in the house due to snow days than the baby. I've definitely starting feeling the need to nest. I may be making up for lost nesting with Chris. Since we moved right after he was born, I didn't get to have a nursery ready for him. I still don't have a nursery, per say, but I do have a corner of Chris' room/our living room all set up. I've washed all of the LG's old baby clothes and put them in the baby's new (Chris' old) dresser. We just got finished getting the bedding for Christopher's twin bed, so I'm still on the lookout for coordinating crib accessories.

Here's a quick nesting story for you. We moved the TV out of our living room and had an extra TV stand. I put it by the closet where Conan puts his dry cleaning. After a few days of having a table with shirts on it, I decided it needed a basket. Cut to me, walking a mile and a half home from Pier One with 5 different baskets attached to every area of our stroller (with Chris in it). I cannot imagine what a crazy person I looked like. I felt like I needed a sign that said "Nesting pregnant woman, don't judge!". I am very happy now that we have a basket for Chris' stuffed animals, and balls, and my fabric scraps... and our keys. Okay, maybe I went a little overboard : ).

So Chev just tells me about this blog I never knew about. I blame you for the hours worth of work ive missed out on now that i have been stalking "LG". You are too cute with the little family and im so proud of you guys. I miss you all and hope to be back to NY with you guys by kindergarten... hopefully Chris' kindergarten rather than the littest :) Smithers is currently draped over me and says hello (as I type with the only hand and keys not occupied by his furry goodness)! Aww, we miss you too Lauren! You totally would have been my 1st person to call to watch the LG when I go into labor! It would be great if you were here by the time he's in kindergarten, although I'm not sure we'll be able to take make it here that long : ). Hope y'all are doing well, and tell Smithers hi for us too. Miss you!
