Christmas

Seeing as Valentine's has passed, it's probably time for me to get some Christmas pics up!

Here's the LG after our tree got delivered. He was a little puzzled by our arrival, but he got used to it rather quickly.

We had a couple of Christmas parties before the big day. We had one for Christopher's friends. Here are the little goodie bags (of course I forgot to take pictures at the actual event).
Here's Chris before the party with our neighbors. Yes, we made him dress up as Santa Claus.

Here's the LG with our stockings. These didn't last on that book shelf very long. They were the perfect height for him to pull them off, over and over.

Here we are putting our cookies for Santa and carrots for his reindeer. I was so proud. Chris tried to eat the carrots before he even attempted to steal some of Santa's cookies.
It didn't take him long to find the cookies though. I don't think Santa minded too much.

Here's the LG Christmas morning. Santa left him a trike!!
Stockings with Dad.
Grammy and Grandpa Bryce got him a tool set. Somehow he just knew how to hammer. We were impressed!
My Aunt Ronda made him a hat. Isn't it adorable? He loves it!
Grandma and Grandpa Crum sent him all sorts of fishing gear. Dad's showing him how it works. He's a pro already!
We went to see the Rockefeller tree after Christmas.
Family shot. Chris looks a little tired. I think it was past his bedtime.
Here are a couple of shots with the Christmas tree before I took it down.

We had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you and your family did also (a few months ago : ) ).

Florida

Right before Christmas we took a little weekend trip to Florida. Our friend from college, Max, and his family live there. They were so nice to invite us to stay with them. The weather was amazing. It was freezing in NY and such a nice treat to get to be outside in sunny weather all day long.

Max took us out to fish on his uncle's boat. This is Conan reeling in some crazy Florida fish that I can't remember the name of. Very impressive though!

Here's Max with his catfish. Nice one Max!
Here's the LG in his life vest. He's not a big fan of having to wear it. He did like being out on the water though.
Here's me with my lady fish. They promised me it survived and went on to live a happy fish life.
The LG could only handle so much rocking on the boat before it was nap time.
We got to go to the beach every day we were there. When we were packing I couldn't believe it would actually be warm enough to wear swimsuits on the beach. It was! Chris loved to ride on Dad's shoulders and walk on the beach. This one's good of Dad, but the LG is a little blinky.
This one's better of Chris, but Dad's blinking now. Good thing I'm not a photographer. This is hard!
Here they are catching some waves.
I love this picture!
Max caught Chris a hermit crab. It was the best toy he's ever seen.
That background doesn't even look real does it?
It may not look like it here, but Chris loved playing in the waves. He thought the water coming and going was so much fun.
The boys.
Max brought a football and Chris wouldn't let go of it.
I don't know much about football, but I think he's a natural. Note the cowboy boots. I couldn't find sandals anywhere before we left (possibly because there was snow covering everything in this city?).
We love Florida! It was the perfect winter get away!
