33 and 34 weeks

33 weeks

34 weeks
Time is flying by! We can't believe we get to meet our little girl in a few weeks. This week was filled with washing lots of pink clothes and hanging gold dots for her nursery. I'm hoping she'll make it until pretty close to her due date, but if she's anything like her brother I should probably go put another load of baby clothes into the wash!

Weekend

Bryce got baptized this weekend, and we had so much fun with family. I'll post lots of baptism pictures too, but here's some from our unseasonaly warm weekend!

Here the boys are on the stone arch bridge. They ran across the entire thing, and then complained about having to walk back to the car : ).
We've never made it all the way to the bottom of the bridge, and here the boys are with a frozen waterfall.

We ate at the Muni, and played some shuffle board at the end.

A little cousin bonding while walking on frozen Lake Minnetonka.

Derek gave Bryce a piggy back ride in the snow. Isn't that bright sun gorgeous!

Bryce got a snow snack. I think he ate that entire chunk.

The best thing may have been the sledding. Here's Jack...

Chris...

Derek and Bryce went really fast!

Double cousin sled!

All Star Sunday

For Conan's birthday we got him tickets to the All Star game... So we thought. We actually got him tickets to All Star Sunday, which is the Minor League version of the game. It was still super fun, and probably a little less crowded. Here's Bryce all ready to go... (His car seat was fixed before we actually went anywhere!).
The boys got to meet lots of mascots!
And poor Chris almost got eaten by a cardinal.
Checking out the field...
The boys!
Mom and Chris.
Here's a quick shot at the end if the game. So fun!

Des Moines

Last weekend we went to Des Moines. We have friends that moved to Kansas City, and Des Moines was an easy spot to meet in the middle. The trip was so much fun, but sad to only be able to spend a couple of days with our friends. About 30 minutes into seeing them, Chris said I don't know how I'm going to leave Owen : (. We're very happy for all of their new adventures in KC though!

Here's Chris when we got out of the car for the first time...
"Mom, take a picture of my very first steps in Iowa."
We visited the Capitol building. It was beautiful!

Family shot! It's the last time there won't be a third car seat in the back row of the car!

It was cold out, so we spent a lot of time in the hotel pool. Bryce favorite was throwing rings in for the big kids to dive for.
Silly photo before we left.

The four kiddos... Great trip!

December!

Not sure what I was thinking saying I was going to post everyday in December! We've had a crazy couple of days. Here are the two pictures I've taken so far this week...

When Bryce naps during the week it's usually in our bed. I used to try to get him to sleep in his own bed, but now I feel like I'll take what I can get. He usually just gets about half an hour in before we have to go get Chris for school. He's such a sweet little sleeper! (And yes, that's a star pillow in our bed. We had rounds of pink eye, and I changed pillow cases so much, I don't know who's is who anymore.)

This is from the allergist this afternoon. We were there to give Bryce a trial of pecans. Last time he went in his pecan allergy seemed to have disappeared. The next step was to let him try and eat them in the office. They gave him the skin prick test first to be sure, and lo and behold the allergy was very much still there. Bummer! We were at the office determining this for a good 3 hours. Bryce was such a trooper! He was very itchy, but didn't scratch at all because they told him not to. I had brought a new puzzle along and he was super excited about it. Here it is completed, and here's the awesome new look he gives me when I try to take his picture. I was hoping to celebrate with pecan pie, but we're still a no walnuts or pecan family for the time being. I'll be back to catch up more soon!

I'm back!

It's almost the end of the year, and I have 5 months of posts to catch up on. Be prepared for a December full of blogging!
