Easter!

Am I posting these pictures the same month of the actual holiday? That hasn't happened in a while : ). We had a great Easter. We got to spend it with Chevy, Tom, Lauren, Ty, and Sarah! Sarah was on her break from Flying Kites in Kenya and we were so happy to see her. (I completely forgot to get pictures with her and Chris- tears!)

The day before I put Christopher to work decorating Easter cookies. His cookies were great because you couldn't even see the icing they had so many sprinkles on them.
Easter morning Chris opened up his Easter basket. Such a fun surprise... goldfish and Elmo crackers in the eggs!

Mmm... delicious!

Grandma and Grandpa Crum got Chris new boots and all sorts of fun goodies!! I can't believe he's already grown out of his last pair of boots!
Grammy and Grandpa got Chris a bowling set! So much fun!!

Then we went to church. Before the service they had a breakfast and an Easter egg hunt for the little ones.

This kiddo was definitely trying to steal the LG's eggs. Chris stood his ground though.
And was so happy he did. Mom, why didn't you put chocolate in my eggs at home??
Christopher and Dad before church. Could they be any cuter?
Family shot after lunch.
Chris and Aunt Chevy. This was about 5 minutes before nap time. He looks like he's about to pass out. Such a fun day! Happy Easter!

What we've been doing...

Making Elmo drums.
Growing dried beans into plants (again, thanks for the idea, Elmo).
Bubbles in the tub. Every. Night.
Playing with/eating play dough.
Celebrating 4 years (with the LG, of course)!
Fishing.
Finding every indoor play area in NYC with Max and Michelle.
Playing ball. Chris can catch now!!
Squatting when I bend down to take a picture.
Hanging with Chevy and Tom lots. We can't get enough Aunt Chevy time!
Wearing paper bags on our head.
This was all the LG's idea. Christopher is getting funnier by the minute!
More updates coming soon!

Valentine's Day

We had a super fun Valentine's Day at the Crum house. We put Chris to work on Valentine's presents. Here's the Yankees cookie he decorate for Dad.

The LG got a fruit set that you can actually cut up. He loves pretending to cook like Mom.
Here's our traditional heart cookie cake. Mmmm.
Hearts made from candy canes.

I put him to work for the entire week before Valentine's day.
He enjoyed it because I actually let him use markers instead of washable crayons.
So pretty!
Everyone in the fam got one!
He got a Valentine from Aunt Mariko. Stickers! He walked all around our place and decided this was the perfect place for them.
Stacking blocks from my mom and dad. Clifford!
Rain gear from Grandma and Grandpa Crum! He loves it!
Happy belated Valentine's Day all!

New Year's Eve!

I know they're late, but I thought these were too cute not to post. Hope everyone is having a happy 201o!

Christmas

Seeing as Valentine's has passed, it's probably time for me to get some Christmas pics up!

Here's the LG after our tree got delivered. He was a little puzzled by our arrival, but he got used to it rather quickly.

We had a couple of Christmas parties before the big day. We had one for Christopher's friends. Here are the little goodie bags (of course I forgot to take pictures at the actual event).
Here's Chris before the party with our neighbors. Yes, we made him dress up as Santa Claus.

Here's the LG with our stockings. These didn't last on that book shelf very long. They were the perfect height for him to pull them off, over and over.

Here we are putting our cookies for Santa and carrots for his reindeer. I was so proud. Chris tried to eat the carrots before he even attempted to steal some of Santa's cookies.
It didn't take him long to find the cookies though. I don't think Santa minded too much.

Here's the LG Christmas morning. Santa left him a trike!!
Stockings with Dad.
Grammy and Grandpa Bryce got him a tool set. Somehow he just knew how to hammer. We were impressed!
My Aunt Ronda made him a hat. Isn't it adorable? He loves it!
Grandma and Grandpa Crum sent him all sorts of fishing gear. Dad's showing him how it works. He's a pro already!
We went to see the Rockefeller tree after Christmas.
Family shot. Chris looks a little tired. I think it was past his bedtime.
Here are a couple of shots with the Christmas tree before I took it down.

We had a wonderful Christmas and I hope you and your family did also (a few months ago : ) ).
